Policies & Procedures

At Tiny Fins Survival Swim, we believe in a commitment between parents and instructors. Because our survival swim technique focuses on muscle memory, it is imperative that children come to their scheduled lessons. Please read our policies and procedures to gain a better understanding of what’s expected.

WHEN ARE LESSONS?

We offer both morning and evening lessons to accommodate work and school schedules accordingly. Please let us know your preference when you register and we will accommodate your availability.

REGISTRATION

To register for Tiny Fins Survival Swim lessons, there is a non-refundable $50 fee.

ATTENDANCE

Students who attend their scheduled lessons have a higher chance of survival in a water emergency. Consistent lessons help with learning and progression.

That being said, we understand illnesses and emergencies may arise. We are more than happy to accommodate your family.

If you plan to be absent, here’s what to do:

Mark your child absent in the app, email scheduling@tinyfinssurvivalswim.com, or give us a call at (417) 374-7013 as soon as you know your child will not be able to attend that lesson, so we can plan accordingly.

MAKE-UP LESSONS

Each child will receive 3 free make-up classes within a 6-month period. This means if your child is ill or an emergency arises that causes your child to miss a lesson, we will schedule a make-up lesson (one per instance, up to 3 times).

If your child needs more than that in a 6-month period, each make-up lesson will be $10.

Make-up lessons must be scheduled within 2 weeks of the child’s absence.

We cannot issue refunds or credits for missed lessons.

DISCONTINUING SWIMMING LESSONS

If you plan on dropping your child’s swim lessons, a 30- day written notice must be emailed to scheduling@tinyfinssurvivalswim.com with a drop date.

PAYMENTS

All payments are processed at the beginning of the month. All invoices left unpaid by the 10th day after receipt will be subject to a $5 late fee. Lessons are scheduled on a first come first serve basis and no lesson time or schedule will be held without payment. We require a debit or credit card on file. We are happy to take care of this for you at our location or you can add it yourself in the customer portal https://app.iclasspro.com/portal/tinyfins/

How to add a payment method to the customer portal:

Add payment method, select recurring payment. Payments are processed at the beginning of each month.

REFUNDS

Tiny Fins Survival Swim does not issue refunds. Lessons are scheduled on a first come first serve basis and no lesson time or schedule will be held without payment.
